If the engine is turbocharged or uses a centrifugal supercharger, the crankcase will pressurize without a PCV valve. This can lead to engine sealing issues. This kit adds a billet O-ring sealed PCV valve which restores crankcase vacuum in all scenarios and only allows metered air into the intake. The baffled oil cap also adds additional air\/oil separating filtration to the crankcase that is service free.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp\u003eAlthough optimized for Gen IV LS engines, this kit still works on Gen III LS engines (97-04).
