Approach to various settings for driving experience and driving comfort. The 5100 Series shock absorbers utilise inverted / upside down technology. The inverted design is race proven technology and produces an extremley strong damper, providing better suspension geometry under heavy lateral and braking loads as seen in a road and track environment.

The 5100 Series shock absorbers give your car a better performance than the standard twin tube design. With the 5100 Series suspension you can adjust rebound with one knob. The adjust platform allows you to adjust the ride height of your car. AST suspension shock bodies are specially designed to keep maximum stroke, even with a lower ride height.
How a Monotube design works?

Monotube design essential for performance, The oil and nitrogen are separated by a floating piston, and allows the use of a larger piston, increasing the damper performance and sensativity felt by the driver, all this added together produces more grip, gives more control and driver feedback from your vehicle.
What is a rebound adjustment?

Rebound controls the rate of extension of your shock absorber, By changing the rebound you can directly change the charecteristics of the vehicle.

 

5200 Series Coilovers - Perfectly fine-tuned

You are that person who takes the performance of your car more serious. Our 5200 series are perfectly suitable for everyday use, but mostly designed for track use. Challenge your vehicle by adjusting the compression and rebound separately. Allowing you to experience sports car driving at its finest.  The 5200 Series are 2-way adjustable shock absorbers which are based upon competition 3-way adjustable shock absorbers. The 5200 shock absorbers are adjustable in compression and rebound.

The design of the compression adjuster is an evolution of the compression adjuster we provided for the American Grand-Am series for the last few years. The 5200 shock absorbers were designed to achieve a quick and easy set up, allowing separate adjustment of compression and rebound.

In the 5200 Series AST uses an external canister. Throughout testing and competitions, the 5200 has been praised for its performance and capabilities, surpassing other major, more expensive brands and setting a new standard of 2 way damper. Its no surprise that the 5200 is fast becoming a favorite damper amongst race teams and track day enthusiasts world wide.


5300 Series Coilovers - Demand the most from your vehicle

Are you the most serious person on the race track? Get to a winning setup by using all options that our 3-way adjustable dampers have to give. All adjusters work completely independently. Once installed the shock absorbers are easy to setup, highly reliable and require low maintenance during the season because of the high grade of materials used. Tested on tracks like the Nürburgring, Zandvoort, Imola, Laguna Seca, Macau and many others around the world. 

For the best performance on the track, AST Suspension designed the Competition 3-way adjustable series. The 5300 Series shock absorbers are rebound adjustable in 12 positions on the strut. The highspeed compression is adjustable in 12 positions and the lowspeed compression is adjustable in 14 positions. Both compression adjustments are made using an external canister. All adjusters work completely independent.

Top Mounts/Camber Plates

AST topmounts are made of the highest quality materials available. The plates are made out of an exotic high grade aluminum and the bearing plus its carrier are made within very small tolerances that results in a unique noise free pillowball setup. AST uses the same materials and bearings as they use in the aviation industry. That is the reason the the top mounts are almost free of maintenance. AST guarantees a good quality product
