The EFI tuning industry is unusual in the fact that there is no formal qualification path to become a professional tuner. You can’t go to university or a polytechnic and come away with a qualification that makes you an ‘EFI Tuner’. The result is an industry with many tuners who don’t even understand the basic fundamentals of EFI. Often the outcome is poor results, damaged engines, frustrated customers and a general lack of trust in the industry as a whole.
