Made in collaboration with ATI, this TRUE 1500hp rated SFI Approved Harmonic Balancer is EXCLUSIVE to Platinum Racing Products!
Having sold and used ATI products for many years successfully on a host of street / drag / circuit cars (including Xtreme GTR - world time attack champion), we went out to develop the first true 1500hp rated balancer for the Ford Barra!
We worked in conjunction with the team at ATI and this beast of a balancer was born with it's sole purpose to serve those customers making beyond 1000hp (current limit of ATI balancers) and give them a viable option to suit their application.
This patented ATI Super Damper is the only damper designed exclusively for high performance engines and the benefits of which are:
- Designed for 1500hp at the wheels
- Overdriven Balancer
- 10% Underdriven Water Pump Pulley Included
- Eliminates torsional crankshaft vibrations
- Exceeds SFI 18.1 specs
- Black zinc chromate finished
- Tuneable, rebuildable, and extremely efficient at ALL RPM
- Laser engraved 360° timing marks
Additional Information:
- Drive Belt will require replacement due to the increased diameter of the balancer. No belt is supplied with this kit due to the multiple ancillary options found on modified engines. We have listed the correct size below if you are running all of the OEM components.

- The TDC timing marker on the cam cover will require removal and clearancing due to the increased diameter of the balancer.
